Tax officials from Belarus and Russia hold joint board meeting

Union State dialog is developing in all spheres. A joint board meeting of the tax authorities of Belarus and Russia was held in Brest. Last year, the parties implemented one of the intergovernmental programs to set up a system of indirect taxes. It required high-tech solutions by both countries and some serious organizational work. Its result is one of the key issues on the agenda. The participants also discussed interaction between the agencies in order to prevent violations and improve the countries’ international legal framework in tax information exchange. At the end of the meeting the parties signed 2 agreements.
