In the Dzerzhinsk District, the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers for Education and Science has renovated almost 4 hectares of forest. New trees (about 16.000 seedlings) were planted in place of those damaged be the bad weather. The green initiative brought together more than 70 people: these are students, professors of the capital's universities and activists of the branch trade union. The landscaping took place on the territory of the Negoreloe Forestry Experimental Station, which is a branch of the Belarusian State Technological University. The campaign became an example of caring for the environment and an important contribution to the ecological future of the country.
