Solemn events in honor of the Day of the Border Guard were held in Belarus

In the capital, flowers and wreaths were laid at the Victory Monument and the memorial sign "Border Guards" in Tolbukhin Square. On the Island of Courage and Sorrow, a tribute was paid to those who performed their international duty in Afghanistan. An Alley of Glory will be built in Minsk in memory of the exploits of the soldiers. 18 plaques with the names of border guard heroes and the names of units will be installed in Victory Park.
