Six tons of fish released into lakes of Vitebsk region

Six tons of fish have been released into lakes of the Vitebsk region of Belarus. The stocking took place in Tolochin, Postavy and Ushachy districts. The reservoirs were replenished with carp, grass carp and silver carp. The fish stocking on Lake Mugirino has become a quite an event for recreational anglers from the surrounding villages. Many of them decided to catch the process on video. All the fish was brought in the northern region of the country from a hatchery in the Mogilev region. The second stage of stocking catfish, tench and pike will be held in late October.
