The consequences of the Chernobyl disaster affected the ecology of the whole of Europe, but the most significant blow was taken by Belarus. Disaster management and assistance to the affected regions were the main topics of the meeting in the Honorary Consulate of Austria. The guests were about fifty students, scholars and teachers of the city Mattsee. The day before the delegation arrived in Belarus with a noble mission: to transfer the collected funds, as well as medicines and other assistance. According to the guests, it is a sign of solidarity with the Belarusian people in the struggle with the consequences of the Chernobyl accident.
