President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the staff and veterans of Belarus" Emergencies Ministry on their professional holiday. Over 17 years Belarusian rescuers have managed to save about 100,000 people and eliminate over 180,000 emergency situations. They provide assistance in different parts of the world. Belarus" special operations unit is accredited to participate in international humanitarian operations, being one of the world"s 30 units of the kind.
