Remembrance Day will be held in the village of Khatyn today.Today is the 73rd anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy. During the Great Patriotic War, the small village along with its residents was completely burnt down by the Nazis. More than 45 years ago, a memorial was built in place of the burnt villageof Khatynin memory of Belarus" burnt villages. Remembrance Day will be held there today. Also, soil from the Khatyn tragedy site will be passed over to senior priest of Minsk"s All Saints parish Fyodor Povny to be placed in the crypt of the All Saints Memorial Temple.
