Salvation at height. Exercise of Emergency Ministry was held in Minsk

Termination of fire in facilities of a big office center and avoiding casualties. The task was set today before the Minsk city fire fighters. According to the exercise scenario, the most dangerous area was in the 22-nd floor of a high-rise building. The response time was limited. The workers of the center had to be immediately evacuated via staircases and emergency exits. Then, the flame source had to be detected and extinguished. One of the conventional victims was in the technical top floor. A special descent technique was applied for him – a crew of climbers was engaged in the mission.
