Russia's parliamentary delegation visiting Minsk

Minsk and Moscow continue to strengthen integration in all areas, and parliamentary interaction is no exception. A delegation of the Federation Council is in Belarus. Belarus and Russia continue to demonstrate to the whole world: only together we can overcome any difficulties. The Russian delegation has already held a number of meetings to strengthen the partnership. In particular, the key issues of the interparliamentary commission are trade and economic issues and work between the regions of Belarus and Russia. Thus, 35 delegations led by heads of Russian regions and 39 delegations of business circles of Russian regions visited Belarus in 9 months of 2024. In turn, Belarusian delegations made 73 visits to Russian regions. Interregional cooperation is considered the locomotive of the Union economy. The growth of trade turnover, strengthening of industrial cooperation, and production of Belarusian-Russian products are all the practical results of a well-functioning partnership.
