Belarus sums up the results of the elections to the local Councils of Deputies. According to the Central Election Commission, the turnout was more than 77%. In total, over 22 thousand candidates applied for 18 thousand seats. Every third Belarusian voted early. The most active voters were registered in the Vitebsk region. Here, 84% of voters came to the polling stations. The Central Election Commission of Belarus is to consider the main election results no later than February 23. It is on this day that the meeting of the Central Commission is scheduled.
