More than 15 thousand people have already registered for participation in the Minsk Half Marathon. Over a thousand applications were submitted by athletes from 40 countries, which is the highest number ever. For comparison, last year among the participants were 770 athletes from around the world. It is assumed that the total number of runners will be record-high, too. The organizers prepared 35 thousand medals. The race will be held on 9 September. Traditionally, the participants will be offered three challenges, the primary one being 21 km and 100 meters. The current race will also be a charity event to help vulnerable children. It was already supported by well-known Belarusians, Nadezhda Scardino, Olga Mazuryonok, Dmitry Dyubin.
