The system of military training in Belarus should be improved and adapted to modern realities, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on October 19 while participating in the verification of the level of training the Armed Forces officers.Educational programs without practical testing destroy the depth of knowledge.The main task is to avoid formalism in education and in the evaluation of the quality of knowledge.Another sensitive issue is military sport, competition and training of the army with the upgraded technology.The commander highlights: calm and peace in Belarus should not discourage officers. Today, peace is only where there is inner strength and the ability to defend national interests.Belarus is not going to fight with anyone, but the complex verification and modernization of the army will continue.
