Today the government reported to the President on approaches for improving the education system in Belarus. The main thing is to avoid rash decisions. Alexander Lukashenko instructs to consider all the issues in this area, ranging from kindergartens to universities. A number of measures have been suggested that will ensure availability and improve the quality of education. It is proposed to make emphasis on profile learning. School textbooks will be prepared thoroughly by teams of professional educators. The topic of employment was discussed as well. The first job places will be offered to graduates regardless of whether their education is state- or self-financed. In the coming months the strategy of development of national education will be improved. All aspects of the strategy will be discussed at a large-scale meeting, which will take place before the start of the new school year.
