Movies and books will be marked in Belarus by age categories from 0 to 18+. The decree of the President makes amendments to several laws: on children"s rights, advertising, media, information and others. It will be required to mark the age category on information products. This will protect children from harmful information: violence, eroticism, or, for example, profanity and alcohol and smoking propaganda. The social-advisory council at the government will coordinate the issues of age labeling. The main points of the law shall come into force from July next year.
