President Alexander Lukashenko has presented state awards to people of different occupations at today"s ceremony in the Palace of Independence. About 40 people - doctors, agrarians, construction workers, military men, teachers and artists - have received orders and honorary titles. The ceremony is the first event to award the best of the best according to the past five years" results.Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the awardees on receiving the honorary state awards which should serve as a stimulus for further work for the benefit of Belarus and expressed gratitude for their professionalism and high economic performance. The ceremony was followed by an informal dialogue.
