President signs decree on additional security measures during 2nd European Games

The President of Belarus signed a decree on additional security measures during the 2nd European Games. This will help ensure all the necessary conditions at sports arenas, in hotels, and atheltic facilities. The document was drafted after studying domestic and foreign experience of holding major international competitions. Meanwhile, the Flame of Peace relay race continues across the country. Today the torch is traveling in the Grodno region. The day before the participants of the relay visited the Volkovysk district. The fire was carried up the Castle Hill, which is the Volkovysk's highest point. Today, the main symbol of the 2nd European Games will be delivered to the Mir Castle. Later it will travel to Novogrudok.
