Preparing for new academic year

The first lesson of the new school year will be dedicated to the topic “I grew up here, and this land is dear to me”. About 3,000 schools will open their doors on September 1. These include some newly built ones. This year there are 3 of them, in Minsk, Vitebsk and in the village of Kopishche, Minsk region. On the Day of Knowledge, the school bell will ring for more than a million children in Belarus. For 114 thousand of them this call will be the first in their lives. This Knowledge Day will also be special for more than 4,700 young professionals. They will enter the school for the first time as young teachers.
