Platform screen doors installed in Minsk metro

The first platform screen doors are installed in Minsk metro. The sliding platform edge doors will be set up at the new Kovalskaya Sloboda station. They will operate automatically thanks to touch sensors that are triggered when the train approaches. The screen doors will be located along the entire platform; emergency exits will also be provided. Installation is handled by a Turkish company specializing in railway industry. Simultaneously the work continues to construct the third Minsk metro line.
