Over 45,000 TEU containers were transported from China to the EU via Belarusian railways last year, which is almost 1.5 times more than in 2014. Cargoes are transported from China via Belarus to Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and other European countries.It takes less than 12 hours for container trains to cross Belarus from Krasnoe station to Brest, with a speed reaching 1,400 km per day with short stops at stations. Enhanced technologies have resulted in the reduction of processing time at the Brest railway junction from 36 to 10 hours with reloading and up to 6 hours without reloading.
