Paying fares by QR code

The capital city of Belarus will restock its public transport fleet by the end of the year. Minsk Automobile Company MAZ will provide three hundred newest buses and 75 contactless trolleybuses to Minsktrans. At the same time, the smartphone-based system for paying fares is being improved. Pay by QR code is also available on some public minibus taxis. The capital city metro plans to introduce fare payments using face scan technology. The system has already been successfully tested. The know-how is to be used on the metro's new third line.
