Partisan Parade held in Minsk on this day 75 years ago

On this very day, exactly 75 years ago, the Partisan Parade was held in Minsk. More than thirty thousand resistance fighters marched across the hippodrome site. About fifty thousand civilians welcomed the liberators. Today, the exposition of the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War holds many items that once witnessed the Partisan Parade in Minsk. Among the rare exhibits are banners of partisan units, personal belongings and weapons of resistance fighters, photos and documents.
