Belarus voiced its position at the 4th Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network. A broad dialogue on the problems of our time was held on the margins of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Uzbekistan on the eve of a significant date in the history of international relations — the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Bandung Declaration, which laid the foundation for the establishment of the Non-Aligned Movement. Today, this is an excellent platform for the active development of cooperation between the parliaments of the participating States in order to develop joint approaches to addressing global issues and problems. In a month's time, the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory over Fascism will be celebrated. For Belarus, as for many countries, this is a special page in history. As Natalya Kochanova noted, earlier the leaders of the CIS countries adopted an appeal to the peoples of the post-Soviet space to prevent the revival of fascism. Only through joint efforts we can confront modern challenges in order not to repeat the tragedies.
