Parliament session to open on Constitution Day

The Parliament is restructuring its work in accordance with the updated Basic Law. Thus, the session will open symbolically on March 15, Constitution Day. In the future, the legislative season for deputies and senators will be continuous – from September to June. Now there are 13 issues on the agenda, and about 30 more are under consideration in the relevant commissions. Particular attention is being paid to updating legislation in connection with the amendments to the Constitution. Corrections need to be made to more than a hundred documents. It is also necessary to develop a law on the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. It may be accepted before the end of the year.
