Over the last 5 years, disability pensions in Belarus have almost doubled

The size of disability pensions in Belarus has almost doubled over the past 5 years. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Marina Artemenko on the eve of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. According to her, the country has created favorable conditions for people with disabilities. One of the main achievements in this area is the improvement of conditions for raising disabled children in families. Parents are provided with labor guarantees and assistance in child care, including babysitting services. In addition, expenses for the purchase of hygiene items are reimbursed.
