Over 2.5 million Belarusians engaged in sports

Over 2.5 million Belarusians are actively involved in sports. These figures were announced by Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko in Molodechno at an off-site meeting of the Interdepartmental Council for healthy lifestyle. The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the government supports people as much as possible in their desire to engage in physical activity as there are 23,000 sports facilities in Belarus.
