These are the findings of the Global Peace Index this year. Compared to 2015 we went up by 4 positions, showing one of the best results in the region. In total the rating includes 163 countries. Evaluation was based on 23 parameters. Among them is the possibility of terrorist attacks, political instability, the number of murders, the relationships with other countries. Russia occupies the 151st place and Ukraine - the 156th place. Iceland, Denmark and Austria are recognized as the safest countries.
