A unique open-air museum has opened in the town of Yurovichi. The name of this settlement is found in every school history textbook. It was here in the Kalinkovichi region that archaeologists made a sensational discovery almost 100 years ago, discovering the site of a primitive man. Experts from various fields, from history to ecology, helped to design and build this museum. The dwellings of primitive people have been recreated in the pavilion and on the terrace, and you can also see the remains of ancient animals. The new museum is an incentive to develop local tourism infrastructure. Yurovichi is included into the the Golden Ring of the Gomel Region tourist route. Research on its territory continues.
