The cooperation agreement signed by the Orthodox women"s associations of the Vitebsk region and Russia"s Smolensk involves cultural exchanges and joint projects to strengthen family values.The Russian guests presented the photography exhibition The Temple Builders of Russia, which illustrates the beauty of Orthodox churches and cathedrals and is sponsored by the Metropolitanate of Smolensk.The signing of the agreement is timed to the day of memory of Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky. Vitebsk"s Holy Assumption Cathedral hosted a liturgy. A ceremonial procession to a monument to Nevsky and his family, which has been unveiled this year, also took place.
