New route to connect border regions of Belarus, Poland, Ukraine

A kayak water tour route is going to connect the border regions of Belarus, Poland, and Ukraine. The initiative «The Boog connects us» was adopted among 17 projects in the topic «The Heritage» and will get a grant of 1 million 285 thousand dollars. The project envisages creation of a kayak water tour route of in total 800 km. It will pass through the bordering regions of the 3 countries. There are plans to create tourist recreation sites, piers, information signs. The new route will attract many tourists, boost development of infrastructure of the adjacent areas. Concomitantly, it will promote partnership relations between the countries.
