A new museum will be created in the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex. The Ministry of Culture of Belarus has already approved the concept of the 1941 Eastern Fort Defense Museum. In particular, visitors will be told about the fort defense staff, headed by Major Piotr Gavrilov, the fate of the women and children who were hiding there, the creation of the improvised hospital in one of the casemates. One of the key points of the exhibition will be the description of the June 29 bombing. It is planned that the museum will have seven exhibition rooms with one of them being a viewing platform.
