New approach to personnel training to ensure balanced labor market

This year, the Ministry of Labor of Belarus will be involved in forecasting the economy's demand for personnel. On its basis, the Ministry of Education will shape the enrollment numbers for higher education institutions and secondary vocational schools. This will help to balance the labor market. Today, finding a job is a challenging task in 48 regions of the country. One of the main goals is to reduce the level of unemployment. Currently, it stands at half a percent. There are almost 56 thousand vacant positions across the country. Next year the system of labor remuneration in budget organizations will change. Instead of the tariff rate, when calculating salaries, the minimum subsistence budget will be taken as a basis. This year, pensions will be recalculated and control over payment of salaries will be strengthened.
