National pedagogical council to be held in Minsk on 23-24 August

The issues of the development of education will be discussed at the National Pedagogical Council in Minsk. Particular attention will be paid to popularization of blue-collar professions and improvement of professional qualification. The two-day forum will bring together about a thousand specialists. Today’s thematic sections will discuss the feasibility of the entrance examinations in the fifth grade, duplication of training for the same discipline, the creation of an independent center of assessment of education quality, as well as human resources’ potential. The sections will operate at universities and schools. The most rational proposals will be delivered tomorrow to the plenary session.
