National Center of Medical Technologies to receive $125 million for modernization of healthcare system

A centralized health information system will be established in Belarus. 125 million dollars are allocated for modernization to the National Center of Medical Technologies. The President of Belarus signed a relevant decree, which approved the implementation of the loan agreement between Belarus and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The money will also be spent on the construction of a training center for doctors, the repair of laboratories in two dozen medical institutions, the reconstruction of the intensive neonatal care unit at the Mother and Child Center.
