The process of beatification of Eduard Voinilovich, the founder of the Red Cathedral was started in Minsk by Roman Catholic Church. The ceremony featured Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz, Archbishop Metropolitan of Minsk and Mogilev. Believers announced the corresponding decree of the prefect of the Congregation, a brief biography of Voinilovich was read to them. The Belarusian is known as a political and social activist and founder of the Red Church. Beatification is the first stage in the process of canonization.
