Today
the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic will hold a joint
session to hear reports of the government on the performance, goals and
objectives in industrial sector and power engineering. Besides, the amnesty
bill timed to the 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from Nazi
invaders will have two readings. The bill suggests releasing the people who have been convicted for
minor crimes. Some categories of convicts will have their sentences reduced.
The bill on amending the laws on drafting in the army will have the second
reading. Today, the sixth session of
the House of Representatives will complete its work.
