Modern weather radar installed near Vitebsk airport

The weather in the northern region of Belarus can now be predicted to within three hours. A modern weather radar has been installed in the vicinity of the Vitebsk airport. Its more than thirty-five meters in height, the range is two hundred and fifty kilometers. The equipment scans changes in the atmosphere and allows tracking the movement of clouds and the approach of intense precipitation in real time, identify dangerous phenomena. Similar radars are present in all the regions of the country.
