Traffic inspectors took the use of mobile phones by drivers under special control. A raid is being carried out in the capital to curb this tendency. According to experts, using a mobile phone while driving increases the risk of accidents by 4 times. Traffic rules in Belarus prohibit a driver from using a mobile phone while driving if the car doesn't have special equipment that allows hands-free conversation.
