A scientific conference of cardiologists has been held in Grodno today. The scientists discussed the reasons why heart diseases become younger worldwide. Every year, about 40 hearts are transplanted in Belarus, including foreign nationals. Tens of thousands diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac surgeries are carried out annually. Experts emphasize the invaluable contribution of Belarusian cardiologists in the development of international medical science.
