Minsk to join Global Running Day

On the Global Running Day, Belarusians are invited to run ahead of the Sun. Today an unusual race will take place in Minsk as one of the stages of a large-scale project. The Belarusian capital has become one of 24 cities in the world that participate in the IAAF Run 24:1 campaign Outrunning the Sun. The project was initiated by the International Association of Athletics Federations. In different parts of the world taking part in the 1 mile runs will be both professional athletes and jogging fans. In Minsk, the run will be led by one of the strongest athletes of the country, Olga Mazurenok.
