Minsk to host press conference on results of 2nd Congress of Scientists

Today, a press conference will be held on the results of the Second Congress of Scientists in Minsk. The scientific forum was held last week. Belarus President took part in it. The year 2017 has become landmark for the scientific industry of the country. This concerns not only global discoveries, but also the transformation of the entire system. In the last 5 years, Belarus increased the volume of output of scientific and technical and innovative products more than two-fold. Belarusian academic organizations perform export contracts with almost 60 countries. The key document of the forum was the draft strategy Science and Technology. It defines the future model of the country as Belarus Intellectual. Its key elements are the digital economy and the creation of an IT-country.
