Artesian water is delivered to Minsk by reliable conductors. Quality control is carried out at all stages. Today Belarus is among the top 40 countries with the safest drinking water in the world and is approaching the leading countries by many criteria. The country is ahead of almost all neighbouring countries and almost all republics of the former Soviet Union. Thus, the safety index 2 years ago was 60. It is obvious that with the transition to artesian sources this index will grow significantly. Belarus is ready to share technologies in the sphere of efficient use of natural resources — this applies to water extraction and purification. For example, with African countries in the sphere of drilling artesian wells and using the latest water purification technologies. This has been repeatedly emphasised by the President.
