Minsk Region residents preserved ancient Kolyady rituals

Residents of the village Shestisnopy of the Cherven District have preserved one of the ancient Kolyady rituals. Every year local musical collective Svayaki organizes festive events for the villagers. Every household is happy to welcome the costumed procession and treat them to a feast, which is considered a good omen. Kolyady celebrations will last until January 21.
