Minsk Metro expands possibilities of payment by contactless bank cards

Minsk Metro has expanded the possibilities of paying fares with contactless bank cards. Now BELKART-Maestro cards can also be used. Holders of Visa payWave and Mastercard PayPass cards can already pay the fare without one-time tokens or travel cards. The cost is similar to the price of the token. All that is required to effect a payment is to hold a bank card close to the validator. People can also pay by smartphone or other gadgets. Over the past six months, over 5 million people have used the contactless payment in the subway.
