Every third child in Belarus is covered by family support allowances. 2% of the country's GDP is spent on benefits for families with children. This was announced today at the 6th International Forum “Sanctity of Motherhood”. The conference brought to Minsk more than 400 participants from 11 countries to discuss motherhood and childhood in modern society, as well as sustainable development goals. By the way, Belarus is 25th out of 179 countries ranked according to conditions for motherhood and childbirth, and first among the CIS countries.
