Emergency response experts from CSTO member countries arrived in Minsk today. They discuss ways to effectively prevent and control emergencies. This year, among the participants are representatives of Chinese agencies. Experts point out that countering modern challenges is a task to be addressed through joint efforts. Setting up a common security system will simplify inter-agency and interstate cooperation in emergencies. Unified principles and approaches can be introduced by 2020. Belarusian rescuers also presented the latest achievements in personal protection, from non-flammable impregnation agents for fabrics to light-weight gear for emergency response employees.
