Minsk hosted ceremony to award winners of contest on developing entrepreneurship in Belarusian regions

Minsk played host to a ceremony to present certificates to winners of the contest of initiatives aimed at developing infrastructure to promote entrepreneurship in Belarusian regions. This is a joint program of the Belarusian Economy Ministry, EU, and UNDP. The list contains 8 winners, i.e. innovation centers, business schools, and local foundations. Financing for each project will total $110,000 on average. This is an investment in developing business initiatives in districts, e.g. an IT cluster will open in Borisov, Lida will focus on robotics.
