Emergency services of Belarus are ready for spring floods. The scheme of actions is scheduled to the smallest detail. Special equipment is ready to get into the most inaccessible areas. Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations operate in alert mode. Rescuers regularly work out plans for the evacuation of people, emergency repair of dams, bridges and overpasses. Gomel and Brest regions are in the risk zone. In particular, these are Mozyr, Petrikov and Zhitkovichi. Yet, the water level has not reached dangerous levels. In case of heavy rainfall, rescuers will have to apply their skills in practice.
