After reconstruction, a renovated memorial was opened in the village of Studenka. Previously, the mass grave kept the names of 76 fallen soldiers of the 6th and 32nd divisions of the 3rd Guards Cavalry Corps. After search work, the names of another 36 soldiers were established. Their names are also immortalized on the memorial. The ceremony was attended by relatives of Red Army soldier P. Savichev, a native of the Chelyabinsk Oblast of Russia, who died in 1944 while crossing the Berezina River. The work to search for the dead and missing soldiers will continue. Over the past three years, volunteers and work collectives have established the names of about 800 people.
