May 15 is the International Day of Families

Today is the International Day of Families. It is observed by 2.7 million Belarusian families. This year, it is held under the motto «Family, education, wellbeing». The number of multichild families is increasing every year. More than 117,000 children were born in the country last year. Prior to the International Day of Families, 140 women received the highest award - the Order of Mother – for bringing up five or more children.
