Commission for Emergency Situations discusses natural disaster relief

The Emergency Situations Ministry, the traffic police, power engineers and road services continue addressing the consequences of Daniella cyclone, with 5,000 units of specialised machinery involved across the country. 103 settlements are still left without electricity. Major damage has been done to the Minsk and Mogilev regions.Yesterday saw a meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations. According to the Prime Minister, measures taken have allowed to eliminate disaster effects and bring the situation under control.A new cyclone is expected on Saturday, which will affect the south-east of the country.
